HOMESTEAD RUN RESERVE

Public BBQ

Homestead Run Reserve proved to be one of those pleasant suburban discoveries that locals clearly treasure. The BBQ facilities sit within a well-established park that feels genuinely lived-in - the kind of place where Tuesday morning board game sessions happen naturally among friends. The barbecue areas are decent enough for a family cookup, though you'll find the real charm lies in the broader setting. Kids will find plenty to occupy themselves with the play equipment scattered about, even if some bits could use a refresh. The exercise stations add a nice touch for adults wanting to work off their sausages, and there's enough open space for a decent kick of the footy or a morning jog. It's the sort of reliable local park that delivers exactly what suburban families need - nothing flash, but thoroughly functional.
